The music ministry

The music ministry at Glenn Memorial offers high-quality musical leadership for worship while holding a core value of being warm and welcoming to people of all ability levels. Its choirs lead the congregation in song at both Sunday services and present special concerts for the Atlanta community throughout the year.

Six choirs span the whole life of the church. The Cherub and Covenant Choirs gather the youngest singers; the Youth Choir and Youth Handbell Choir carry teenagers through middle and high school; Primi Cantores sings in the rich acoustics of the Little Chapel; and the Chancel Choir, a mix of amateurs and professional musicians, leads the 11:00 a.m. service in the Sanctuary.

Glenn Memorial sits in the historic Druid Hills neighborhood on Emory University’s campus. Its connection to Emory runs through the music: the Music Fund underwrites guest musicians and the Emory Choral Scholars, who sing alongside the Chancel Choir.

What we offer
